steven seagull

I was asked to commission a painting by Butlers in Redcar, Cleveland to paint a friendly semi tamed seagull which went by the name Steven.

The particular picture requested for me to paint was that of steven stood on the wall in the rain expecting his usual piece of fish.

It was painted using oils and various mediums to created a moody cold wet day and urban like textures on a canvas that was 81.3x101.6cm / 32x40”. I was requested a big canvas so I would like to believe I did so!
